Where & How do we meet the driver?
Unless requested to the contrary, our driver will meet their passengers by the exit to the customs hall inside the airport terminal, where he/she will be holding a meeting board with the passengers name on it. Please bear in mind that airports get busy, this is why we ask for the passengers mobile phone number so our driver can call the passenger should there be any complications in making contact. So please ensure yours is at hand!
When the driver makes contact, he/she will assist the passengers with their luggage and show the passengers to their vehicle. In the event that you are unable to make contact with your driver, please contact us ASAP.

How long will the driver wait for us ?
The driver will wait approx 45-60 minutes from the time the plane lands before calling you on your mobile, in the event that the driver is unable to contact you, the driver will make a paging call from the Airport Information desk; wait 15 minutes by the information desk with a meeting broad and then make enquiries with airline staff, customs and immigration. Only then will the driver leave if he has been unable to contact the passenger/s.

What happens if the flight is delayed or arrives early?
As we have access to all UK flight arrival and departure boards we will make the necessary adjustments to your booking, to ensure that the driver is there to meet the passenger/s, so rest assured, it makes no difference how early or late the flight is there will be a driver there to meet you. As a norm we will not charge extra for this service, however we do reserve the right in extreme circumstances. (The definition of Extreme being at our discretion), to make a cash charge for any excess of waiting time, parking fees and/or other overhead incurred. However no charges will be made until the driver has contacted the control centre and the control centre sanctions any such charge.

Q: what is a private hire vehicle
A private hire vehicle is a private vehicle (either owned or hired by a driver or Private hire/Minicab company) for the transportation of persons or parcels from A to B. Private hire vehicles are also known as Minicabs, which are registered with the P.C.O. (Public Carriage Office) and have to undergo stringent testing every six months. The drivers and company are also registered with the P.C.O. and all vehicles have to display a badge both on the front & rear windows the colour of which changes every year. Private hire vehicles are also required to have a special insurance which is known as Hire & Reward insurance. This is not goods in transit insurance, so if you are transporting goods of a high value they will travel at your own risk unless you take out your own insurance.

Q; Insurance: Am I and are my goods insured?
All drivers are self-employed and legally responsible for their own Hire and Reward Insurance which is the UK's legal requirement for all Minicab/Private Hire drivers, which is also the same for London's Black Hackney carriage drivers commonly as the London Black Taxi.
The Minicab/Private Hire Company acts as an agency for these drivers and in as much as it charges the driver for work, therefore the company is not liable in any way form or manor unless it did not carry out its legal duty to ensure that the driver had up to date Hire & Reward insurance.
It should be noted that a Minicab/Private Hire vehicle is primarily a passenger vehicle
(The same as a London black Taxi) and does not carry Goods in transit insurance which is the insurance for goods for a high value. Therefore if you wish to transport goods of a high value you will need to take out your own insurance or transport these goods at your own risk.

Q; How does the London Congestion charge affect my fare?
London Bases or registered Minicabs/Private Hire Vehicles are exempt from The London Congestion Zone charge. Therefore this makes no difference to fares. However it should be noted: that if you order a Minicab/Private Hire vehicle not registered with the London P.C.O. you will probably have to pay extra.
